How to prepare Quince Paste Fritters?
- In a bowl put the flour, the milk, the egg yolks (reserve the egg whites), the tablespoon of oil and a pinch of salt.
- Work with a wooden spoon until you get a homogeneous and thick mass.
- Let stand covered for 2 hours.
- Then add the egg whites whipped to stiff peaks.
- Heat abundant oil in a saucepan or frying pan.
- With the help of a spoon coat each piece of quince paste with the paste and fry them.
- Let them drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with icing sugar.
